You want a floor with a great look to it. But you also want it to be durable and stylish. Luxury vinyl can do all of that and more. It's so good, and it can go in every room in your house and make it look amazing.
Luxury vinyl has a design layer, which is the layer that has the picture on it that you want. This design layer is three-dimensional, so it has depth to it. If something were to gouge the floor, there would be little sign of it in the design layer. The pictures of the design layer represent precisely what you want: wood, stone, tile, or brick. It can come in brilliant colors and patterns to match any hardwood species you desire or tile floor you want. The flooring is embossed and micro-beveled to give it an aged look, if you prefer.
There are two types of luxury vinyl: plank and tile: the plank comes in a wood-look and is long and flexible, and it can mold itself to the subfloor. It can also come in different lengths and widths, depending on your choice. Luxury vinyl plank is also known as LVP.
The tile, LVT, is in a firmer tile format. It is a little harder than LVP, but it is also of the same material. It looks and feels just like a ceramic tile that can go in the bathroom or kitchen. LVT is so convincing that at first glance, you can’t tell it apart from ceramic tile.
Both luxury vinyl tile and luxury vinyl plank are waterproof. At the core, they are composed of plastic stone composite and plastic wood composite material. So they won’t curl, peel, or warp when exposed to water, no matter how long the exposure is.
